Screening children’s speech language and communication – are you doing enough?
We know some children can have speech language and communication needs that can impact on their ability to listen, understand and express themselves.

This free course, delivered by Elklan, will explore the principles of effective screening, to support early identification of children with SLCN, using a range of accessible tools.
By the end of the course you will:
- Understand the need for effective screening and the links with the EYFS
- Be able to use a range of screening strategies
- Use informal SLCN assessments through play.
